He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Wedekind; his parents, Henry Wedekind and Mabel Wedekind; his daughter Sandra Stanley; his sons-in-law, Daniel Stanley and John Walrath; and his siblings, Victor, Arthur, John, Edward, Robert, Henry Wedekind and Francis Alley.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Wedekind of Baraboo, Thomas Wedekind of Baraboo, James Wedekind (Lisa) of Baraboo and Janet Walrath of Baraboo; his grandchildren, Christopher Stanley (Stacey), Matt Stanley, Kyle Stanley, Shane Wedekind (Alina), Ryan Wedekind, Briana Stepp (Kyle), Audrey Wedekind and Brandon Walrath; and his great grandchildren, Deacon, Elena, Rhys, Charlie, Sophia, Nolan, Nora, Emmalee, Isabelle, Alexandria and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phil's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, or a charity of the donor's choice.
