Richard Ziemke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ziemke (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Ziemke; and his sister-in-law Sherrie Ziemke. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Ziemke (Jensen) of Baraboo; his brother Dennis Ziemke (Lisa Henke) of Baraboo; his nephews, Jeremy Ziemke (Stephanie) of Kendall and John Ziemke (Kimber); his great-nephew Wesley of Baraboo; his sibling's children, Jenna Ziemke of Baraboo and Forest Henke (Heather Key) of Baraboo; and his close friends, Julie Swan of Pardeeville and Peggy Loveless Sosinsky of Montello. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home (401 Madison Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
