He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fraser Sr. and Cecelia Strachan (Larsen); his brothers, Bobby and John Strachan; his stepson Daniel Jordan Osmer; and his mother-in-law Rose Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanny Osmer (Saunders) of Baraboo; his children, Thomas Strachan (Linda) of Baraboo, James Strachan (Tara) of St. Charles, IL and Jennifer Thuemmler of Sussex; his stepdaughter Tracy Madden of Baraboo; his brother-in-law Scott Hamilton (Terri) of Dickeyville; and his stepfather-in-law Jim Messer (Sandy Curley) of Baraboo. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home (401 Madison Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice of Baraboo, Ochsner Park, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers for our Veterans.
