He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Near and Elvina Near (Harris). He is survived by: his brothers, Barry Near (Cheryl) of Clayton and Daniel Near (Beverly) of Rose Hill, Kansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Free Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
