James Duane Haas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Duane Haas of Barron, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Kessler; his son-in-law Dennis Darnold; his great grandchild Brecken; and his siblings, Joan Haas and John Haas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanne Darnold of North Hudson, Mary Haas of Barron, Lori Springer (Dean) of Barron and Teresa Perkins (Walter) of River Falls; and his sister Marilyn Meyer of Sheldon, Iowa.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (827 E La Salle Ave, Barron, WI 54812).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Barron Food Pantry.
