She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Stepanow and Berta Stepanow; and her siblings, Oskar (Zilma) and Hertha (Arthur Wachstein). She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi Hong (Peter Olson) and Rita Hong (Lee Johnson); her granddaughter Haley Hong Johnson (Zachary Loy); her children, Charles (Chuck) and Paula Edson; her grandchildren, Lindsey and Eric; her children, Mark and Diane Edson; and her granddaughters, Carly and Erin. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
Because she enjoyed flowers all her life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Barron Federated Music Club; First Lutheran Church, Barron; and Grace Episcopal Church, Rice Lake.
