He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kay Bender; and his children, Jackie Lynne (Jeffrey Mike) and James Christopher (Pieterke Bender).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St Jude's Children Hospital and veterans organizations, in recognition of Roger's lifelong commitment to service.
