He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kamrath and Mathilda Kamrath Sr. (Gentz); his siblings, Bernice Petrusha, Verna Kamrath, Gertrude Kamrath, Irene Falk, Raymond, Edger, Melvin, Wilmer, Vernon and Gilbert; his nephews, Don and Eugene Kamrath; and his close friend Marilyn Griepentrog.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Wayne Petrusha (Amelia), Tom Kamrath, Joyce Kamrath, Lois Kamrath, Barbara Homan and Sandy Bishop; his adoptive mother Deb Zimmerman; Chris, Shannon, Gary Griepentrog (Linda), Josh and Mike. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
