She was predeceased by: her parents, John Posthuma and Clara Hoffman Posthuma; her son Thomas A. Buteyn; and her siblings, Eli, Carl, Alvin, Clarence, Jim, Jake Posthuma, Agnes Schmidt, Grace Fietz and Jeanette Tjepkema.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Buteyn; her daughters, Colleen Miles (Bill), Michelle Lovell (Brian) and Jennifer Petersen (Nate); her daughter-in-law Robin Tarter (Mike); her grandchildren, Jill Moede (Lance), Thomas A. Buteyn (Madeline), Marcus Lovell, Jared Lovell, Claire Petersen and Kayl Petersen; her great grandchildren, Macey and Max Moede; and her sister Sylvia Smith (Clinton). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
