He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kohl and Gertrude Kohl (Kennedy); his wife Shirley Borchert; his siblings, Gordon Kohl and Marge Adamzak; and his nephew Paul Kohl.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Kohl of Beaver Dam and Deleen Nehls (Tyler) of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Tatum Nehls and Austin Nehls; and his close friend Carol Taylor of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
