She is survived by: her husband Edward Surprise of Beaver Dam; her son Joseph Surprise (Brandi) of Beaver Dam; her niece Terri Diehlmann (Kevin) of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren, Dylan, Jenah and Keagan Surprise of Beaver Dam; her siblings, Charles Pritchard (Pam) of Dunbar, John Pritchard of Beaver Dam and Debra Gossen of Athenlstane; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford Kikkert, Sr. of Waupun, Gene Smith of Rosholt, Jeffery Surprise (Julie) of Beaver Dam, Sandy Lange of Madison and Susan Surprise of Wausau. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
