He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Tunison and Luella Tunison (Miller); his sisters, Dolores Metcalf and Lynette Van Dixhorn; and his nephew Gary Metcalf.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ahrens; his sisters, Beverly Dallman (Russell), Cheryl Draheim (Howard) and Carla Breber (Terry); his aunt Irene Stellmacher; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Van Dixhorn (Lora) and Russell Neumann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
