He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin H. Schwantes and Arleen Schwantes (Laabs). He is survived by: his brother Allen Schwantes (Susan) of Mayville; his sibling's children, Jennifer Powell (Vincent) of Mayville and Matthew Schwantes (Megan) of Laramie, WY; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth, Desirae, Daniel, Andrew and Catherine Schwantes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:50 PM at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home (N7199 N Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
