He is survived by: his wife Jill Hembel; his brother Jeffrey Benson (Debra) of New Berlin; his nephew Adam Helms (Megan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elliott, Finley and Matthew Helms (Becky); his niece Amber Bell (Mike); his great-nephew Henry; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Hembel of Cedarburg; and his sisters, Amy Cook (David) of West Bend and Hope Wendtland (Donald) of Grafton.
