He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hummelmeier and Clara Hummelmeier (Spreeberg); his wife Betty Hummelmeier; his in-laws, Gomer and Winnie Pritchard; and his sons, Craig and Mark.
He is survived by: his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Terry Hummelmeier; his grandchildren, Lindsey Hummelmeier, Adam Hummelmeier, Cole Hummelmeier and Clara Hummelmeier; his great grandchild Breslin VandeKolk; his brothers, Harold Hummelmeier (Audrey) and Charlie Hummelmeier (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Sandra Koehn. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
