He was predeceased by: his brother Craig McKinzie; and his pet Mort. He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Sr. McKinzie (Carole) and Janet McKinzie; his wife Deborah J. McKinzie (Chandler); his children, Crystal Haney (Chris) and Adrian McKinzie; his stepson Nathan Sillars (Sara); and his grandchildren, Orion, Colin, Athena, Lucas, Owen and Max. He is also survived by siblings, many nieces and nephews.
