It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerhardt Alsum of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, born in Waupun, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alsum and Jeanette Alsum (Levey); his sisters, Winnie Meenk (Don), Doris Vande Streek (Wil) and Sue Cupery; and his stepgrandson Robert Brandt III.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Alsum of Beaver Dam; his children, Staci Sarvis-Brandt (Robert) of Beloit, Sally Erdmann (Tom) of Columbus and Steve Alsum (Amy) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Jenna Sarvis, Cora, Kyle Brandt, Alyssa, Trent and Carson Erdmann; his stepgranddaughter Gillian Brandt; his stepgreat-grandson Roman; and his brother-in-law Robert Cupery. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be established at Agrace Hospice, American Heart Association, or American Cancer Society.
