He was predeceased by: his parents, William Umland and Genevieve Umland (Davies); his siblings, Robert Umland and Mary Umland; and his great grandchild Lillie.
He is survived by: his children, Rob Umland of Beaver Dam, Jamie Umland (Nicole) of Beaver Dam and Stacy Wittnebel (Jamie) of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Ryan Umland, Rylee Umland, Nick Krezinski, Jace Umland, Makinlee Umland, Autumn Sell (Nate), Gavin Wittnebel and Mason Wittnebel; his great grandchildren, Carson and Paislee; and his close friend Janice Frank of Baraboo. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
