It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Champine of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Champine and Celestine Champine (Arnette); his former wife Ann Champine; his wife Joyce Champine; his children, Daniel Champine and Annette Neuman; his sister Nancy; and his son-in-law Tom Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Kennedy, Tony Champine (Terri), Krista Skiba (Kevin) and Kathy Royal (Tom); his children-in-law, Sara Champine and Don Neuman; his grandchildren, Kari Neuman, Megan Neuman (Chase Fletcher), Kyle Neuman (Francesca), Kelly Skiba, Katie Bates (Tyler), Kassidy Skiba, Kraig Skiba (Morgan), Austin Royal, Jordin Royal, Carson Royal, Cara Dassler (Nate), Brooke Kennedy (Brendan Conaway), Eric Kennedy (Alexandra), Morgan Champine and Rachel Champine; his great grandchildren, Breelyn Dassler, Kenslie Dassler, Audriana Kennedy, Brynlee Fletcher, Jagger Fletcher, Lane Neuman, Parker Bates, Jackson Bates and Theodora Skiba; his pet Boots; and his caregivers, Rita, Val and Jess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
