He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Griswold and Florence Griswold (Nettesheim); his children, Mariann, James and John; his children-in-law, Karen Griswold and Gregory Sadoski; his siblings, Eugene Griswold Jr. (Joan), Lois Marincic (James), Barbara Berres (Marvin), Kenneth Griswold, Marcella "Sally" Helm and John Griswold (Marlene); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Wandsnider and Ellen Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Jane A. Bartlett; his children, Diana "Dede" Sadoski of Randolph, Steven Griswold (Tammy Garbalagtys) of Beaver Dam, Daniel Griswold (Renee) of Juneau, Paul Griswold (Betty) of Beaver Dam and Adam Griswold (Stacy) of Beaver Dam; his siblings, Lorraine Wandsnider, Joseph Griswold, Sharon Armao (Chuck) and Gerard Griswold (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Griswold and Michael Helm. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church (511 S Spring St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church-Beaver Dam (511 S Spring St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916).
