She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Parkhurst and Elvira Parkhurst (Koenecke); and her siblings, Jon Parkhurst and Sue Anne Steinhorst. She is survived by: her husband Bob of Beaver Dam; her children, Joy Schleusner (Jeff) of Middleton and Bart Bortz (Melissa) of Sun Prairie; and her grandchildren, Erin, Robin, Adam "AJ" Schleusner and Noah Bortz. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church – Restoration Fund.
