He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Genz, (Steffel) and Walter Genz, Sr.; his daughters, Gloria and Mary Ann; and his brothers, Donald, Walter Jr., Edward and Rudy.

He is survived by : his wife Wilma Genz of Beaver Dam; his son Tim Genz; and his brother Herbert Genz (Joan). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
