He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Liebig and Louella Liebig (Bondack); his grandson Hunter; his sister Carol Henning; and his brother-in-law Herman Herkert.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Goodsir; his son Ty Liebig; his stepchildren, James Sumwalt (Stacy) and Tara Lunz (Andy); his grandchildren, Lexi and Cameron; and his sister Pat Herkert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
