He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Waddell and Agnes Waddell (Frank); his in-laws, Theodore and Inez Wahlen; his siblings, Marg Maier, Marion Bauman, Glenrose Czarneski, Eugene Deniger and Duane Waddell; and his siblings-in-law, Judi Welsch and Ted Wahlen Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Waddell of Peter's Catholic Church; his children, Gina Kulka (John), Brenda Riege (Bill) and Brad Waddell (Beth Selburg); his grandchildren, Andrew Kulka (Brittany), Kevin Kulka (Gabrielle Brosius) and Blasia Longfield (Austin); his great grandchild Bennett Kulka; and his brother-in-law Peter Wahlen (Margaret). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
