He is survived by : his wife Nancy Schafer; his children, Cindy DeVries (Mike) of Waupun, Jenny Fuerstenberg (Denis) of Beaver Dam, Timothy Schafer of Beaver Dam, Holly Schafer (Cliff Linde) of Beaver Dam and Andy Schafer (Lynn) of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Amanda Dekam (Jeffrey), Ryan DeVries, Matthew Fuerstenberg, Morgan Fuerstenberg, Carson Schafer and Grace Schafer; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Kreuziger (James) of Beaver Dam, Gail McCormick of Sturgeon Bay, Mary White (Wayne Propst) of Beaver Dam, Kathy Nickel (Tom) of Middleton, Bill McCormick of Oklahoma, Dennis McCormick (Jane) of Beaver Dam and Mike McCormick (Carol) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
