She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hess and Betty Hess (Wallendal); her stepfather Mike Wallendal; and her stepdaughter Barbara Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Roger Nelson; her children, Darwin Young (Carrie) of Fox Lake, Angela Esquivel (Mike VanPay) of De Pere, Shannon Schmidt (Katie) of Beaver Dam and Elizabeth Custodio (Omar) of Maryland; her stepson Roger Nelson, Jr. (Christa) of Oshkosh; and her siblings, Luana Kuhlman of Beaver Dam and Don Hess of South Milwaukee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
