He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Herbst and Frances Herbst; his wife Joyce Herbst (Warmka); his brother Victor Herbst; his close friend Marion Manka; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Adeline Warmka; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Warmka, Jim Warmka, Andrew Warmka Jr. and David Warmka.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Herbst (Kasey), Mark Herbst and Tammy Langendorf (Dave); and his grandchildren, Alexis Ward (Hunter), Jordan Langendorf, Amelia Herbst and Allen Herbst. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
