He was predeceased by: his sisters, Phyllis Smith, Mary Schmidt, Lou Ann Cain, Ellie Schoeffel, Wanda, Wendy, Gwendolyn and Amanda; and his parents, Lester Helbing and Selma Helbing (Griesbach).
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Gonnering (Dan), Wendy Welch, Gwendolyn Conner (Rob) and Amanda Egelseer; his grandchildren, Carrie, Taylor, Nolan, Lacey, Avery, Hanna and Emma; his great grandchildren, Evan, Greyson and Paisley; and his close friends, Wayne, Joyce Mohr and Dan Hahn.
