He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schegetz and Elizabeth Schegetz (Hussli); his wife Marcia Hyde; his brother Joe Schegetz (Darlene); his nephew Jerry Schegetz; and his close friend Marilyn Sell.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Riegle of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Cindy Schalinski (Tom) of Mayville, Wisconsin, Cathy Funcke of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin and Jeff Schegetz (Brenda) of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Jessica Burks (Rob), Kristin Hubertus (Greg), Amy Dempsey (Steve), Melissa Blaske (Rob), Ben Funcke (Amanda), Brianna Hoel (Chris), Brock Schegetz (Alyssa) and Brandon Schegetz (Maddy); his great grandchildren, Ryder, Isabel, Natalie, Chase, Rylee, Theo, Thomas, William, Atlas, Otis, Liam, Kinsley, Kennedy, Callahan and Charlotte; and his nephews, Jim Schegetz and Dick Schegetz. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Katharine Drexel Church (511 S Spring St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Katharine Drexel Parish (511 S Spring St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916).
