It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Stai of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Stai, Sr. and Anita Wickert (Hollatz); his stepfather Palmer Wickert; his siblings, Ruthann, James, Floyd, Jr. and Thomas; and his half-brother Larry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Traci Passon (Kenneth) and Bridget (Don Drebenstedt); his grandchildren, Mattea "Buttons" (Robert), Korey "Bruiser", Spencer "Rambo", Lexi "Peanut" (Nick) and Blake "Hawkeye" (Madison); his girlfriend Theodora Margelofsky; his close friend Travis Vergenz; the mother of his children Karen Schuld; his close friend Judy Smith; his half-sister Judy Soto; and his pets, Gracie and Frankie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
