He is survived by : his children, Judy Baumgartner (John), Tom Rufener (Judy) and Penny Magnuson (Tom); his grandchildren, Julie Hilt (Tim), Jamey Baumgartner (Barb), Jeremy Baumgartner, Jayson Baumgartner, Jeffrey Baumgartner (Erin), Jackie Wirtjes (Tyler), Kim Haley, Brian Rufener (Stephanie), Cody Rufener (Rosa), Jenny Sies (Nick), Mary Hartlich, Kevin Rufener (Anjali), Paul Magnuson (Cassie) and Shane Magnuson (Becca); his great grandchildren, Molly, Jenna, Derek, Trent (Maizy), Jordan, Skylar, Payton, Colton, Hayden, Liam, Ethan, Kat, Mia, Haley, Austin, Jacob, Bekah, Charlotte, Tori, Caroline and Brayden; his siblings, Walter Rufener (Sandy) and Gertrude Voegeli; and also Kathy Rufener. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
