He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Remy and Lillian Remy (Moen); his brothers, Ronald and Richard; his nephew Gary Remy; his parents-in-law, Kathryn Genin (Eva) and Louis Genin; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Remy, Edith Remy, Jean Remy, Gale Genin, Jim Doyle, Louis Genin (Will), James Genin, John Genin and Johnnie Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Genin; his sons, David Remy (Tina) and John Remy (Jill); his grandsons, Mitchell, Gavin, Andrew and Ben; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Genin, Kathryn Doyle, Jane Turner and Linda Genin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are suggested in Jerry's name to Belleville Area Cultural Foundation, the Belleville Area Historical Society, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
