She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Maurer and Norma Maurer (Johnson); her son Keith; her brother Eugene; her siblings-in-law, Rodger, Audrey Stampfli, Joyce Sherven, Larry, Joann Sherven and Duane Sherven; and her nephew Scott Maurer.

She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Jennifer Sherven (Andrew Vinella), Jeff Sherven (Becky) and Brian Sherven; her grandchildren, Hannah, Alex, Emma Vinella, Levi and Miles Sherven; her brother Roger Maurer (Joan); and her siblings-in-law, Verdean, Mary Sherven, Jerome, Sylvia Sherven and Janet Sherven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
