He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kamps and Ella Kamps (Speth); his grandson Jackson Kamps; and his siblings, Harold, LaVerne, Keith, William, Thomas, Karen and Norma.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Tiedemann of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Doug Kamps (Kelly), Kim Schacker (Brian), Randy Kamps and Larry Kamps (Janice) of Platteville, WI; his grandchildren, Karlee, Makenzie, Rayna and Wesley; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Kameron; and his sisters, Maggie Dorn, Janis Selger and Beverly Hilgert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
