He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Roy and Loretta Voigts; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Voigts and Bill McArdle. He is survived by: his wife Jean Voigts of Belmont; his children, Wayne DeBuhr (James Pride), Marcia DeBuhr (Melvin "Woody" Woodard) and Sheila Simpson; his grandson Brandon Simpson; and his in-laws, Jean Voigts, Karen McArdle, Larry, Kim Voigts and Ronald Voigts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (346 S Mound Ave, Belmont, WI 53510).
