He was predeceased by: his father Donald Helms; his sister Anne; and his father-in-law Bruce Dwyer. He is survived by: his mother Gale Helms (Temple); his wife Cindy Helms; his children, Brett (Monir) and Betsy Quintana (Tom); his grandchildren, Brody, Brooks, Olivia and Emma; his brothers, Randy, Butch and Don; and his aunt Joan Helms.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family who will designate them to his favorite charities.
