Though Ben may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ben touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Goldstein; his sons, Keith (Jenn), James (Sylvia) and Russel Roe (Anne); and his siblings, Deena Smith (Gregory), Tammie Mann (Richard), Jackie Shaw (Michael), Mitchell Goldstein and Eileen Goldstein. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkholm Cemetery (2501 N La Grange Rd, La Grange Park, IL 60526).
