He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Shepherd-Gahl and Melvin Davies; his wife Barbara Jean Davies (Davies); and his brothers, Jefferson Davies and James Davies.

He is survived by: his son Keith Davies; his grandchild Dori Davies; his daughter Dori Davies of Beloit; his grandchildren, Courtney Collins of Madison, Spencer Davies of Surprise, AZ and Logan Davies (Kayleigh); his great grandchild Layne Davies of Azle, Texas; and his brothers, Mark Davies (Donna) of Big Flats, WI and Tom Davies (Terry) of Beloit. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
