He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rothermel and Wanda Rothermel (Olds); his former wife Deborah (Gesell); and his brother-in-law John Ulakey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Pusheck of Beliot; his daughter Amanda J. Richardson of Belvidere; his grandchildren, Quinn Rothermel, Seth Richardson and Keeley Richardson; his siblings, Nancy Ulakey, Julie Crawford (Jeff Strocher) and Gregg Rothermel (Ji); and his pets, Teddy and Sophie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of gifts the family is asking for donations in his name to Boone County Habitat for Humanity.
