It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lanzendorfer of Beloit, Wisconsin, born in Cazenovia, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Rooney and Agnes Rooney (Milfred); her son Gary Squires; her grandson Michael Squires; and her siblings, Bill Rooney, Tom Rooney, Colleen Lins, Jean Paskey and Sue Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Green (Allen) of Beloit, WI, John Squires of Clinton, WI and Scott Squires (Kelli) of Roscoe, IL; her stepchildren, Kathi Tullis-Grant of Bozeman, MT, David Lanzendorfer (Terri) and Donna Haney of Janesville, WI; her daughters-in-law, Jenny Squires and Jeanne Squires; her grandchildren, Heather Harnack (Gary), Jason Squires (Brenna), Tara Dobberfuhl (Todd), Clint Squires (Marisa Soria) and Haley Squires; her great grandchildren, Abby Jo, Chase, Jameson, Christian, Calvin, Nolan and Josephine; her great great grandchild Kolter; her sister Marilyn Rooney; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Rooney and Lucy Rooney. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren.
