He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Moe and Margurite Moe Sr. (Jenkins); and his former wife Rubye Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Terri Lynn Moe, Debbie Ruth Furman (Craig) and Gerald Allan Moe; his grandchildren, Thomas "T. J." Frentzel (Savanna), Amy Rodriguez (Miguel), Nathan Frentzel and Jessica Frentzel; and his stepgranddaughter Crystal Furman (Tomas). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and half-sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Marine Corps League.
