It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darleen M. Simonds of Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Sowl and Hannah Sowl; her husband Donald; her daughter Sandy Norgart; her sisters, Leona Sharer, Genese Bolender and LaVonne Leombruni; her grandson Steven Shosie; and her sister-in-law Pauline Hommema.

She is survived by: her son Gary Simonds (Carol) of Gainesville, FL; her son-in-law James Norgart of Rockford, IL; her grandson Jon Simonds (Renae); her great grandchildren, Caitlyn of Gainesville, FL and Jonny Simonds of Gainesville, FL; and her niece Lynn Alberts. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
