He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Wood Eberdt; his wife Darlene Sunne; and his sisters, Miriam Pierce (Almond), Gerry Rattle (Kenny) and Helen Peterson (Alan).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle "Shelly" Tyler (William "Bill") of Janesville, WI and Shaun Eberdt (Krista); and his grandchildren, Cory Burnett, Hannah Davis (Brad), David Tyler, Alex Thompson (Beka), Dane Tyler (Lina) and Daniel Eberdt. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Peters Lutheran Church (1422 Center Ave, Janesville, WI 53546). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (1422 Center Ave, Janesville, WI 53546).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church.
