He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schenker and Belva Gudgeon; his daughter Anna Schenker; and his sister Sue Sromalski (Frank). He is survived by: his wife Carole Nandory; his children, Andrew Schenker and Abigail Schenker (Chris Stansbury); his grandchildren, Margo Stansbury, Eli and Asher Lewis; his brother Don Schenker (Rebecca); and his siblings-in-law, Julie Unbehaun (Jim), Mary Hauri, Janet Schultz (Dennis), John Nandory (Karen), Tom Nandory (Shannon) and Jim Nandory (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Schneider Funeral Directors (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53545). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 5:45 PM at the Schneider Life Celebration Center (1770 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53545).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Anna Schenker Memorial Scholarship.
