He is survived by: his wife Jane Luety; his sons, Derrick Luety (Whitney) and David Luety III (Rachel); his grandchildren, Madaline, Clara, Lucy, Hallie, Ada, Caroline and Sydney; his sisters, Vickie Hanson and Diana Schaefer (Mike); and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
