It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Angeline Hemmy of Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Fred and Angeline Meta Bloom (Stando); her son Bruce Peter Hemmy; and her siblings, Marvin Bloom (Bonnie), Betty Belanger (Ray) and Darlene Seward (Robert).
She is survived by: her husband Dale Wallace Hemmy; her daughters, Brenda Lee Liddell (Tom) and Carey Jo Ellison (Bruce); her grandchildren, Molly Nickels (Nathan), Lance Liddell (Gretchen), Mae Austin (Brandon), Travis Liddell (Ashley), Jason Hemmy (Jennifer), Andrea Hennessee (Jason) and Steven Hemmy; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn, Elsie, Paige, Avery and Ivy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Delores not only crocheted items for her family and friends, she also made and donated hundreds of items to many charities and causes including hats for the newborn babies at Beloit Memorial Hospital and other items for the patients at the VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
