She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Radtke and Edna Radtke (Schmidt); her husband Melbourne Steil Jr.; her son James Steil; and her siblings, Claude Radtke and Marilyn Hinz.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hollensteiner (Michael), Kurt Steil (LeaAnn Mattox) and Valerie Steil; her grandchildren, Steven Hollensteiner (Meg), Sara Hollensteiner (Florian Garbe) and Kristina Johnson (David); her great grandchildren, Tessa, Sadie and Iliza; and her sister Verna Stelow-Purdom. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (1000 Bluff St, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (https://www.komen.org) or St. John's Lutheran Church.
