He is survived by: his wife Diane Mitchell; his children, Jeffrey Mitchell (Amy Coldren) and Shannon Steskal (Andrej); his grandchildren, Madison and Jack Steskal; and his brother David Mitchell (Deb).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Beloit Police Honor Guard or River of Life United Methodist Church.
