He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNamara and Mary McNamara (Barton); and his siblings, EJ, Joseph, Dan, Mary, Marge and Veronica.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Anne McNamara; his children, Joseph Thomas (Linda) of Rockton, IL, Julie Merritt (John) of San Diego, CA and Timothy James of DeForest, WI; his grandchildren, Evan, Erin, Chris and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Cora and Beau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School or to St. Vincent De Paul.
