He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marko and Margaret Marko; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell; and his siblings, Marilyn Marko, Myron, John Jr. and Gerald Marko.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Marko (Crystal) of Janesville, Sandi Carnes (Kevin) of Beloit and Matthew Marko (Donna) of Prescott, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kramar (Josh), Nicholas Carnes (Meagan), Benjamin Carnes (Anna), Madison Marko and Tyler Marko; his great grandchildren, Carter, Declan and Callum Carnes; his grandchildren, Levi, Hannah Kramar and Reed Carnes; and his brother Roland Marko (Gerri) of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Throughout her long journey with Alzheimer's dementia, he cared for her with unwavering patience, deep love, and steadfast loyalty.
